Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

BeGlobal is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles using computerized diagnostic tools and other specialized equipment.
  • Repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
  • Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (must have experience of working 7200 hours).
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
  • Excellent physical condition.
  • High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Valid certification and license as mechanic.
