Software Engineer Co-op: Machine Learning Operations

Sanctuary Cognitive Systems Corp., a world leader in building AI-based control systems for humanoid robots, is seeking a talented Software Engineer Co-op student to join our Data Collection and ML Operations team.
As a member of our team, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our data collection pipeline and the process of training, testing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models that power our general-purpose robots.
We are looking for individuals with excellent software development and machine learning skills, as well as hands-on experience in model deployment and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate and test model training and deployment to drive continuous improvements in our robotic systems
- Partner with our simulation and machine learning research teams to enable our general-purpose robots to learn new skills
- Help convert the latest machine learning research into production deployment
Requirements:
- Pursuing or completing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with training and deploying machine learning models
- Patience, persistence, and attention to detail when resolving performance issues
