Regional Sales Engineer for Commercial Air Conditioning

LG is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Engineer to join our Commercial Air Conditioning team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key design engineers and decision-makers in the market.
  • Provide training and education on Variable Refrigerant Flow technology and LG's advantages.
  • Work with design engineers to lay out projects with LG as the basis of design.
  • Generate favorable LG specifications with design engineers.
  • Assist engineers in energy consumption modeling for LG VRF versus competitive VRF and traditional HVAC designs.
  • Assist local independent representatives in driving sales activities with design engineers, owners, and contractors.
  • Track project status and follow up.
  • Manage relationships with design engineers, independent LG representatives, and distributors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sales Engineer calling on consulting engineers in the HVAC industry.
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) and/or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) Designation.
  • Knowledge of VRF and LEED certification are desired.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Experience presenting to higher levels within the organization, distributor management, engineers, developers, and contractors.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
