Care Centre Quality Improvement and Analytics Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled MDS/RAI Coordinator or Lead to join our team at Hawthorne Place Care Centre. As a key member of our long-term care team, you will be responsible for coordinating the RAI-MDS process, educating staff on RAI-MDS 2.0 and other informatics systems, and monitoring data quality.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in coordinating RAI-MDS processes, developing and implementing education and training programs, and monitoring data quality. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with management and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the RAI-MDS process and ensure timely completion
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for staff on RAI-MDS 2.0 and other informatics systems
  • Monitor data quality and identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Work with management and interdisciplinary teams to develop processes that ensure data integrity and efficient data collection
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and analyze data to drive results
  • Lead the Nursing Restorative program and mentor nursing restorative therapists
