About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Garment Craftsman to join our team at Calgary Hijabs & Clothing Centre. As a Garment Craftsman, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications
  • Fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required
  • Operating sewing machines or sewing by hand
  • Designing patterns to fit measurements
  • Marking, cutting, and sewing fabric

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Willing to relocate
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Flexibility

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work Term: Permanent
