**Job Summary**

As a Resident Care Associate at Aspira Riverbend Crossing Memory Care, you will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of our residents. This is a Casual (on-call) position that requires flexibility and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous service and addressing their needs in a timely manner.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Transport residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office, and dining room as required, promoting their independence and mobility.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Deal tactfully and courteously with residents, their families, and report any concerns or complaints to the team leader, upholding our commitment to resident satisfaction.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring the health and safety of our residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our care team.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to provide high-quality care.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training, ensuring you are equipped to respond to emergencies.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills, enabling effective communication with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check, upholding our commitment to resident safety.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate, demonstrating your expertise in providing care and support.
