Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.">
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.">
  • Assist in workforce planning and identify future staffing needs.">
  • Collaborate with senior management to assess staffing needs and workforce planning.">
  • Support performance management by guiding Directors and Managers on employee relations, performance management, and progressive discipline.">
  • Ensure compliance with cultural safety guidelines, labor laws, and privacy and security legislation, including PIPEDA and PHIPA.">
  • Promote fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.">
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for professional interactions with employees, management, and external partners.">
  • Awareness of diverse work environments, with experience working in or alongside First Nation communities, considered an asset.">
