Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities- Match invoices to purchase orders/vouchers and ensure accurate data entry
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Assist with company-wide accounting activities, including general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing
- Process cash receipts, handle daily invoices/credit, and support collection of overdue balances
- Post financial data to journals and ledgers
- Assist with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices, and disbursement filing
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy and integrity
- Strong multitasking abilities and at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Familiarity with Spreadsheets and ERP systems
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and bank reconciliations
- Thorough understanding of general ledger functions
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Excel
