Job Title: Senior Project Manager/ Leader

Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Pay range: C$700 - 750/day
Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite & 2 days remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned project manager with experience in healthcare and digital transformation to lead complex initiatives and improve patient care.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage Projects: Organize, monitor, and report on initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
  • Lead Complex Initiatives: Provide project leadership for large-scale, high-profile, and high-risk projects.
  • Develop Measurement Protocols: Create and administer metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the Digital & Data Action Plan.
  • Support Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various teams to ensure portfolio goals are achieved.
  • Develop Portfolio Management Processes: Establish and implement consistent practices for program and project management, scope, deliverables, roadmaps, budget, and metrics.
  • Oversee Timelines: Track and manage timelines for Digital & Data Action Plan initiatives.
  • Identify Issues and Risks: Work with program managers to identify and address project challenges.
  • Prepare Reports: Organize and complete progress and status reports for governance committees and executive sponsors.
  • Implement Portfolio Management Strategies: Establish and implement effective portfolio management strategies that align with HSC's methodologies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Provide Mentoring: Mentor and transfer knowledge to HSC staff to ensure sustainability of operations.
  • Track Portfolio Progress: Monitor and report on portfolio progress against identified success factors and key enablers.

Required Skills:

  • Health Sector and Digital Health Experience: Strong understanding of the healthcare system, structures, processes, stakeholder groups, and digital health solutions in Ontario.
  • Program and Project Management: Extensive experience managing complex projects, with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery.
  • IT Strategy and Planning: Experience in strategic planning for health technology contexts, defining objectives, and creating action plans.
  • Business Analysis: Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, program definition, and transition planning.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
