About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at AZZAD ELECTRICAL CORP. as a Construction Assistant. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Material Mixing and Application: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Construction Tasks: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with overtime required as needed.
