Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be required to work 35 hours per week and have a strong understanding of employment requirements and terms and conditions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administering staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Identifying current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Providing information or services to employees
  • Preparing and posting notices and advertisements
  • Collecting and screening applicants
  • Advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions
  • Reviewing candidate inventories
  • Contacting potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruiting graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
  • Coordinating and participating in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notifying applicants of results of selection process and preparing job offers
  • Advising managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Negotiating settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinating termination of employment process
  • Determining eligibility to entitlements and arranging staff training
  • Supervising personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
  • Recruiting and hiring staff
