Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Blue Rock Transport is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to operate our semi-trailer trucks on long-haul routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Operate and maintain our fleet of semi-trailer trucks
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in long-haul trucking
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
