Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-language Pathologist to join our team at the Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre in Kelowna, BC. As a Speech-language Pathologist, you will work with children aged birth-to-school entry from diverse cultural backgrounds and their parents/caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in all areas of speech, language, and communication with this population.
  • Collaborate with professionals from the Ministry of Children & Family Development (MCFD), Ministry of Education (MoE), and local community organizations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients' goals while adhering to program guidelines.
  • Provide excellent oral and written communication abilities and build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their caregivers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
