Job Description

Job Title: Senior Compliance Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Advisor to join our team at National Bank. As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Bank's compliance with regulations and providing support to compliance partners on regulatory compliance questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support partners in relation to all activities for the implementation of AML/ATF regulatory obligations, especially the requirements for correspondent banking;
  • Work closely with other members of the AML/ATF Program's team to apply AML/ATF across the organization;
  • Act as a specialist with stakeholders and management in decisions requiring expertise on the interpretation and application of AML/ATF requirements;
  • Demonstrate leadership and produce positions and guidelines pursuant to AML/ATF requirements;

Requirements:

  • University degree related to the sector of activity and 6-10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in regulatory compliance or risk management;
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a team and various stakeholders;
  • Knowledge and understanding in AML/ATF risks;
  • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills;
