About Gill Hair Salon Inc.

Gill Hair Salon Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly growing barbershop and hairstyling salon/studio seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hairstylist Apprentice to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our experienced hairstylists with various tasks, including cutting and trimming hair, shampooing customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Availability to work 30 to 35 hours per week
