Senior Mechanical Retube Engineer

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our experts in Canadian and international offices, as well as at client sites.
The successful candidate will be based in Mississauga, ON, and will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures and policies.
- Participating in equipment testing programs.
- Preparing route sheets and editing documents.
- Completing prioritized work requests on time.
- Becoming a nuclear energy worker (NEW).
- Traveling to vendor and project sites as required.
- Maintaining contaminated nuclear tooling and refurbishment activities.
- Independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Planning, scheduling, and managing own time, including considering the plans of others.
- Ensuring all project training and qualifications records are up-to-date.
- Leading a team of staff for delivery of assigned scope.
- Reviewing technical documents prepared by designated reporting staff.
- Planning and executing work consistent with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 10+ years of practical experience.
- A Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or Eligibility.
- Experience leading a technical team would be an asset.
- Experience working in a nuclear facility licensed in Canada would be an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to support complex and parallel technical projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
