Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at the City of Whitehorse. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare trial balance and bank reconciliations
  • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform financial calculations and analysis
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
