- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communication and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders.
- Cargo Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A): Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certificates and Licenses: Hold a valid passport, basic security clearance, and any other required certifications or licenses.
- Transportation Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in truck driving, with a focus on flatbed transportation.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
