Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Wisdom Learning Centre Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0-12 years in a child care centre setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Punctuality, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in a child care centre setting.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
