Job Title: Clinical Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physiotherapist to join our team at Progressive Physiotherapy Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering evaluative tests, assessing patients' physical abilities, and examining patients to make decisions on tests and procedures. They will also plan physiotherapy programs, select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations, and maintain clinical and progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer evaluative tests to assess patients' physical abilities
  • Examine patients to make decisions on tests and procedures
  • Plan physiotherapy programs to meet patients' needs
  • Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations for patients
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports
  • Confer with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
  • Treat patients using acupuncture needles or stimulation techniques
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in physiotherapy is an asset
  • Current licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation) certification
  • Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking. They will also be required to bend, crouch, and kneel.
