About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Angelo V Pollastrone. As a Home Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision: Provide safe and nurturing care to children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and putting them to bed.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, including sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas.
  • Transportation: Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Education and Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Discipline and Safety: Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
