Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the health and appearance of outdoor spaces.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough assessments to determine project requirements and allocate resources effectively.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction process to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately document project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and apply technical plans to ensure accurate execution.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary resources to support project needs.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Analyze issues and implement solutions to enhance team performance and output.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient workflows to meet project demands.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
