The Dalhousie University is seeking a highly qualified Sessional Instructor to teach a half-credit course in Local Government (PUAD 6400) to students in the Master of Public Administration program during the Winter Term.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a half-credit course in Local Government (PUAD 6400) to students in the Master of Public Administration program.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and evaluations.
- Hold office hours for student consultations and provide feedback on assignments and exams.
- Administer the course, including grading, record-keeping, and communication with students.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in Public Administration or a related field and recent or current experience at the executive level within government departments.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a specialization in Public Administration and have previous university-level teaching experience at the Master's level.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be paid $6,478 per course, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.
