About the Role

As our People & Culture Specialist, you'll play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and onboarding exceptional talent to REDspace. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you'll support full-cycle recruitment and talent processes across the company, ensuring every candidate and new hire experiences a thoughtful and welcoming journey.

With a focus on organization, accuracy, and relationship-building, you'll collaborate with hiring managers, help maintain our HR systems, and contribute to a culture of excellence and inclusion. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a high attention to detail, and have a passion for connecting people with meaningful opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling of all recruitment stages including pre-screens, technical challenges, and panel interviews.
  • Screen incoming resumes and present shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring teams.
  • Support the creation and posting of job descriptions across internal and external channels.
  • Use platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively source and engage passive candidates.
  • Maintain and update applicant records in our ATS (Workable) and ensure timely communication with all applicants.
  • Keep all job postings accurate, active, and visible on relevant sites (local, national, and global).
  • Coordinate candidate experience touchpoints, ensuring clear and consistent updates.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related.
  • Ideally 1-3 years of experience in an HR admin or recruitment support role.
  • Experience working in similar tech, tech start-up or client-facing environments is an asset.
  • Experience supporting immigration and benefits administration is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and ambitious mindset.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment, strict confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of change management.
  • Comfortable working with HR tech tools, including ATS (e.g. Workable), HRIS platforms (BambooHR), recruiting channels (LinkedIn Recruiter) and other systems.
  • Prior experience in implementing new HR systems.
