Maintenance Technician

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Killam Apartment REIT Full time

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Killam Apartment REIT. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and renovating our multi-family residential properties in Edmonton, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware;
Maintain and repair residences;
Perform general maintenance and painting;
Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.;
Refinishing of floors, including handling of sanding equipment;
On-call rotation required approximately every 8-9 weeks;
Snow removal required during winter months;
All other duties as required.

Requirements:

3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role;
Ability to work as a team and under minimal supervision;
Effective, proven skills and experience;
Renovations experience an asset;
Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset;
Must have a valid Alberta driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
