Job Summary

Young Boys Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fabrication: Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Pipe Joining: Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Pipe Measurement and Cutting: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
