Job Title: SaaS Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SaaS Security Engineer to join our team at Autodesk. As a key member of our SaaS Trust team, you will play a critical role in maturing our security posture and ensuring the trustworthiness of our SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement sustainable security solutions for SaaS applications
  • Establish and maintain SaaS Security standards, best practices, and assurance processes
  • Oversee security throughout the entire lifecycle of SaaS services, from design to runtime
  • Partner with stakeholders and the team to develop capability roadmaps and identify key results to achieve roadmap milestones
  • Analyze processes, documentation, and workflows to develop gap analysis and identify process improvements
  • Consult on security programs related to enterprise applications, including cloud services
  • Research new services and technologies to enhance SaaS security capabilities
  • Establish security metrics and define KPIs for SaaS Security programs
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience securing SaaS Applications
  • Experience with Identity & Access management, Data protection, Logging & monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Threat detection & prevention, and IT integration & ecosystem management
  • Strong security background, especially in the fields of IT security, Enterprise Security, and Cloud Security
  • Development or scripting experience for automations in at least one language; Python, GO, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies, especially AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and their security services/technologies
  • Experience with NIST & CIS standards
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as C5, Cyber Essentials, PCI, SOC2, and ISO
  • Ability to operate with freedom and autonomy
  • Emphasis on a data-driven, decision-making mindset
  • Experience working with distributed teams and other partners

Salary transparency: For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $137,600 and $189,200. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
