We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team at Prince Edward County Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to clients, working collaboratively with our team to deliver effective treatment plans and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes
  • Examine client behaviour and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Conduct interviews, prepare case histories, and assess client problems
  • Record observations and maintain accurate records
  • Provide education to clients on health promotion, injury prevention, and management
  • Implement treatment plans and perform administrative tasks
  • Apply psychological theory and principles to inform practice
  • Develop and implement counselling and intervention programs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Provincial license or registration
  • Accreditation or registration with a national, provincial, or territorial professional association
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of behaviour modification, client-centered, and cognitive therapies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position, with a mix of in-person and remote work.
