Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to provide custodial and maintenance services to our schools and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide custodial services to schools and facilities, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment and fixtures, and reporting any issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including WHMIS 2015 certification.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
  • Building Service Worker certificate or training equivalent to 40 hours of instruction
  • 6 months of related experience
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
