Job Title: Medical Clinic Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Receptionist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Medical Clinic Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. This role will involve managing front desk operations, handling phone calls, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and families, direct them to the appropriate healthcare provider, and manage the flow of patients through the clinic.
  • Phone Calls: Answer and respond to phone calls, take messages, and relay information to healthcare providers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Administrative Tasks: Order office supplies, manage inventory, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records and database software.
