About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Junction-Indian Street Food. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and execute menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present high-quality dishes that meet our culinary standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
