Retail Store Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at NS LTD. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Order merchandise and authorize returns, ensuring that our store is always stocked with the latest products
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our store
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to our management team
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our store is always well-stocked and organized
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Computer and printer skills
- Accurate, efficient, and organized
