We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Crane Operator to join our team at PBS Building Supplies Ltd.

Job Summary:

  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Clean and lubricate cranes regularly to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on cranes and associated equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy duty cranes safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of cranes and associated equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Lubricate and clean cranes to prevent wear and tear.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy duty cranes in a construction environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid certification as a crane operator.
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a construction site environment with exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.

Salary Information:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
