Job Opportunity: First Officer - S61 Helicopter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to join our team at Canadian Helicopters Limited. As a First Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the S61 helicopter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a First Officer as per Company operation standards;
  • Perform pre-flight checks and ensure the aircraft is airworthy;
  • Assist the Captain in navigating the aircraft and making decisions during flight;
  • Monitor aircraft systems and report any issues to the Captain;
  • Participate in regular training and evaluation to maintain and improve skills;
  • Other responsibilities related to the position.

Requirements:

  • A Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter;
  • Have a valid authorization to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship;
  • Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating;
  • ATPL written exams completed successfully;
  • Experience as a first officer considered an asset;
  • NVG experience considered an asset;
  • S61 endorsement;
  • Precision long line skill and experience considered a preferential asset.

  • Be customer focused and a team player;
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Accept assignments at different locations, as required.
