Voices is looking for an exceptional Development Team Manager to lead our software development team. In this role, you will provide technical guidance, oversee project delivery, and maintain high development standards.

You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Application Development, to implement technical strategies, enhance team efficiency, and uphold best practices to support our growing technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead developers and take ownership of the delivery of development solutions, including component and unit testing efforts.
  • Mentor developers by providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and promoting development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Assist in overseeing and reporting on project status, managing team resources and assignments, and ensuring project milestones are achieved to the expected standards.
  • Work with Product Managers to develop the content for application and solutions design deliverables and ensure project estimates cover all activities within scope, including project management and application development, software quality assurance reviews, and vendor and contract management activities.
  • Drive stakeholder communications and develop effective stakeholder management required for team delivery.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for any risks and issues impacting your team, and work on defining and executing mitigation strategies.
  • Execute change management to control project scope/schedule through accepted change management processes, impact assessment and documentation.
  • Oversee the documentation and execution of the regular release process.
  • Actively contribute to the codebase as part of technical and roadmap initiatives.
