Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Bus Driver to join our team at Lower Nicola Indian Band. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Students: Safely transport students to and from school, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the bus is in good working condition, performing regular checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Student Supervision: Monitor students during transit, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student transportation.
Requirements
  • Class 2/2F/C Licence: Possess a valid Class 2/2F/C Licence, with a good driving record.
  • School Bus Endorsement: Hold a valid School Bus Endorsement.
  • First Aid Certificate: Possess a valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in your work schedule, including occasional overtime.
