As a House Attendant with Executive Suites Hotel and Resort Squamish, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make a lasting impression on our visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring suites are clean, inviting, and comfortable.
  • Clean all common washrooms and guest common areas to a 5-star standard.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, adhering to OHS and WCB standards.
  • Record area cleaned and maintain accurate records.
  • Return lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Report necessary maintenance items and adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventories, maintaining accurate records.
  • Stock maids' rooms and carts, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Remove garbage and recycling from room attendants' carts as directed.
  • Attend to conference activities, setting up cleanliness as directed.
  • Deliver guest requests to suites, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Clean and maintain office areas, keeping storage spaces organized.
  • Perform regular property security walk-throughs, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Clean shower curtains, rags, dish cloths, and tea towels, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Physical Aspects of the Position:

This role requires constant standing and walking throughout the shift, frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs, and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps. You must be physically capable of performing repetitive work and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a position requiring hard physical work and high standards of guest/customer service.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well unsupervised, at a fast pace, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations.
  • Must be available to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
