The Technical Specialist, Safety Assurance is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety in our rail systems. In this role, you will work closely with our engineers and project managers to develop and implement safety processes that align with industry best practices and international standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the implementation of processes that align with industry best practices, international standards, and customer expectations.
  • Enforce consistent and correct application of these processes in commercial Projects and Product development.
  • Perform safety audits and independent safety assessments for commercial Projects and Product development.
  • Identify issues related to technical safety and applied processes, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of the issues.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to assist in safety-related decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Education and technical background in electronics, computer science, or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working with safety critical train control systems.
  • Familiar with train control systems such as Communication Based Train Control (CBTC), Solid-State Interlocking (SSI)/Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI).
