Framing Carpenter Job Description

Telles Contractors is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and installing the structural framework of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements:
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Working at heights training
  • CADD Course
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work with minimal supervision.
