About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Kinderbrook Montessori School.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting the growth and development of young children, with a strong focus on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement programs that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to promote their creativity and curiosity.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to inform instructional decisions.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges faced by children, and contribute to developing strategies to support their growth.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as engage in manual dexterity tasks.
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
