About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Co-op Civil Engineering Student to join our Geotechnical Engineering Team at WSP Canada Inc. in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering and work with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our engineers and projects in various areas of our business, including compilation and presentation of geological and geotechnical data, calculations, instrumentation data processing, and assistance with engineering design.
  • Conduct field work, including providing support for borehole drilling investigations, instrumentation installations and monitoring, and/or construction supervision.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Student in workterm 4/5, preferably with completed soil mechanics or geotechnical engineering course(s) and a strong interest in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and design/modelling software.
