Diesel Mechanic Job Description

At ROAD XPRESS LTD., we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including welding and adjusting equipment
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
