Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

United Carriers Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often across multiple provinces or states.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often across multiple provinces or states.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
