Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Provide relief to other areas within general scrap operations as needed
  • Ensure conveyor pulleys are clean and functioning properly
  • Pick and sort copper and plastic materials to ensure quality products are shipped to our customers
  • Assist in meeting monthly production goals and targets
  • Communicate effectively with the office, gate security, and operators controlling traffic in and out of the unloading area
  • Direct customers to the appropriate unloading areas when acting as a load inspector

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift materials up to 50 pounds
  • Standing for up to 8 hours, regular walking, squatting, and climbing
  • Ability to learn and follow direction
  • Mechanically inclined and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
