About the Role

GREAT FIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Cable Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our cable network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to document work completed.
  • Initiate the dispatch of repair personnel as needed to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures to access and maintain network equipment.
  • Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access for customers.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field.
  • Will train on company-specific systems and procedures.
  • Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and accuracy are essential for success in this role.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
