Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our AI-Agile Team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to building complex AI products and share your technical software development knowledge, skills, and leadership to achieve the best results.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Data-Intensive Client-Side Applications: Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-quality front-end applications that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with Renowned Scientists and Computational Biologists: Work closely with our team of experts to develop innovative solutions that drive business value.
  • Work with Product Management to Delight Our Customers: Collaborate with our product management team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.
  • Write Production Code: Spend a significant portion of your time writing high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Contribute to Product Features and Core UI Components: Design and implement product features and core UI components that deliver a delightful user experience.
  • Participate in Engineering Discussions and Architecture Decisions: Contribute to engineering discussions, architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code reviews to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
  • Document Best Practices and Systems Design: Document best practices, guides, systems design, architectural decisions, and code design specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Professional Software Development Experience: Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Front-End Development Frameworks: Experience building scalable software using React, Angular, or VueJS, plus TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience with Large Systems and APIs: Experience working with large, integrated systems with external dependencies, web services, and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
  • Excellent Communications and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with fellow Engineers, Product, and other technical functions.
  • Proven Ability to Prototype and Iterate: Proven ability to prototype, ask for feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Demonstrated Ownership and Pride in Quality: Demonstrated ownership and pride in the quality of the software you work on.
