Role Overview

This role is focused on supporting the Tangerine Marketing team, ensuring high-quality marketing assets with consistent messaging and brand identity across channels. The Design Lead will direct design and development, craft new templates, and modify illustrations while communicating ideas and educating stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality marketing assets, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across channels.
  • Support the Marketing team in developing concepts, strategies, and campaigns, working within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate with agencies to direct design and development of creative materials.
  • Contribute to the development of the illustration asset library and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to enhance creative processes.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and balance great design with short deadlines.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in graphic design or art direction.
  • Post-secondary education in Design, Communications, the Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing stylistic breadth, attention to detail, and balanced beauty and clear communication design skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma, with experience in GenAI tools an asset.
  • A positive and resilient personality, with a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
