Job Summary

The Janitorial Department at Flamboro Downs is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EVS Attendant to join our team. As an EVS Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees, customers, and horses.

Responsibilities

As an EVS Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all facilities, including the grandstand, backstretch, and grounds
  • Emptying garbage, cleaning washrooms, and sanitizing all areas of the building
  • Shoveling and salting walkways, as well as performing other duties as assigned
  • Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of horse stalls and equipment
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AGCO Horseperson License Required
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
