The Role

We're seeking a talented Android Developer to join our award-winning team to help expand Robinhood's mobile experience for our customers. As an Android Developer, you'll be responsible for building smooth, stable, and elegant products with Kotlin and the newest Android APIs.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain high-quality Android apps using Kotlin and the latest Android APIs
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Data team
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and improvements
  • Ensure the highest quality of our apps and codebase
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and Jetpack
  • Experience with Android Development from industry roles, internships, hackathons, or other side projects
  • Attention to detail, passion for writing clean, readable, and maintainable code
  • Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
