We are seeking a Water Quality Management Specialist to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. As a Water Quality Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on water quality management and aquatic biology.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead water quality and aquatic biology components of projects
- Design field sampling programs for baseline characterization, fate transport, and effects assessment of chemical parameters in the aquatic environment
- Analyze water quality data to detect spatial and temporal trends, significant differences, and guideline exceedances
**Requirements**
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience related to aquatic biology and water quality
- Strong knowledge of federal and provincial legislation and regulations related to environmental consulting
- Detailed understanding of provincial and federal water quality guidelines for the protection of freshwater aquatic life
